Ahmmit's Gate
A downloadable game for Windows
Ahmmit’s Gate is a single-player, reverse-horror game where you play as Ahmmit, a blind monster from an ancient time that survives off the fear of humans. Her eggs have been stolen, so she has torn her way into this dimension to recover her kin. With a deadly sensitivity to light, Ahmmit can’t stay in this world for long, so you must track down your eggs and return to the gate before you perish. Echolocate, crawl, and pounce your way through a museum while smashing objects and disabling security lasers. But be sure to keep Ahmmit from falling weak! Stick to the shadows and terrify the pesky guards so that you can harvest their tasty fear through predatory assassination!
Playable with Mouse/Keyboard or PS4/Xbox One controller on PC.
This is a demo-like experience, representing a vertical slice of what could potentially be a fully-fledged release. It was created in 12 weeks by A Few Screws Loose Studio, a team of students at Sheridan College in Oakville, Canada.

I played this on a random horror games video and had a great time with this one interesting concept for this game I rarely see games like this
Really liked the idea behind this
Although the mechanics of the game could be slightly improved, overall this was a really fun and interesting game to play, especially since it's a reverse horror game and there aren't many reverse horror games out there. The graphics and the sound effects were really well done. Good job, and keep it up!
This game has great potential, though there were some game mechanics which I dislike alot (i.e the radar function). Otherwise its fun to play, sufficiently difficult to feel like its challenging but beatable. Hope you create more games or expand on this one.
Very interesting mechanics. Beautiful scenery, lighting and etc. Well done guys!
i played your game for some time, a good sign :) , it is a little hard, but i like the reverse thing, we beign the monsters, very interesting and some what satisfying.
I love the mechanic behind this, do you have any plan on making a full game ? this would be very good on the nintendo switch !
I like the idea of having the light be something to be afraid off and the general free aim of movement. Keep up the good work and don't make mamma monster angry. XD
Here's my channel for other games I have played. http://www.youtube.com/c/Levont
Love this game its well done plus the overall style is great too I hope to see more from you as a dev. Keep on making more games as you have great talent. Also if you want to see my thoughts and reaction check out the video
AWESOME! Nice to see reverse horror game. I like the concept. Killer is not killing just to kill, but it has a reason to kill. I love the game. Will there be more? Please let me know.
btw if you are interested, here is my video:
Fun game, simple yet effective, with a great artstyle. The mechanics work surprisingly well, and are really smooth. Whish there was a little story to the game and that is was longer and more progressive. Fun none the less! Looking forward to your future games :)
